How to request for a tutor ?
To request for a tutor, all you need to do is to contact us at 6726 2008 / 8466 8168 or you may
submit a request through our online form.
Is there any additional charges if i engage a tutor through One tuition ?
No, there is no additional charges. We charge fifty percents of first month's tuition fee as
commission from the tutor. Example: Monthly tuition fee is $200. After the first lesson, we will
collect $100 of the monthly tuition fee from you, the remaining $100 of the monthly tuition fee will
be payable by you to the tutor on the 4th week of employment.
How long it takes to short list a tutor for me ?
Upon your request, it takes around 48hrs or less to short list a list of tutors for your selection. If
you submitted a request through our online form, our coordinator will contact you within a day.
Does One tuition verify the tutors qualification ?
Yes. Before we arrange you a tutor, we ensure every student is properly matched by following
strict selection criteria such as conducting interviews and verifying the tutors credentials. You can
also request the tutor to bring their related document during the first lesson if you need to verify.
Can i request a current/ex school teacher to be my kid's tutor ?
Yes, you can request a current/ex school teacher to be your kid's home tutor. However, please
note that the tuition fee is much more higher compare to full-time and part-time tutors.
Can i request a full-time tutor to be my kid's tutor ?
Yes, you can request a full-time tutor to be your kid's home tutor, However, please note that the
tuition fee is much higher compare to a part-time tutors.
Can i decide on the frequency and duration of the lesson ?
Yes, this is entirely up to your decision. Please state the timing of lessons preferred (e.g. weekend/
weekdays; night/afternoon/morning) during the request.
Can i change the tutor if i find that the tutor is not suitable ?
Yes, you can. If for any reason you are not satisfied with the tutor we recommended, you are
allowed to request for a change. Fees for the lessons conducted have to be paid accordingly.
How do i make payment to One tuition ?
We will send someone to collect from you after the 2nd week of tuition or you may make a bank
transfer to our POSB bank account.
