Register as a tutor

To Register as a tutor with OneTuition.com (A services by Business 81) is FREE OF CHARGE.
However, OneTuition.com reserves all rights to reject your registration (example: full
address/home tel/NRIC no. not given).
Before submitting the tutor registration form, please read the Terms and Conditions carefully.
Tutors who sign up with OneTuition.com agreed to the following terms and conditions:
Terms and Conditions :: Tutors
1. Eligibility
a) To be eligible, you must be a Singapore Citizen/Singapore permanent resident or hold a
student pass.
b) You must be at least 18 years old.
c) You need to have a minimum academic qualification of an O'level certificate and good
grades in the subjects that you wish to teach.
d) On the first lesson, you must produce all necessary documents to certify your academic
qualifications, credentials and NRIC to the student/s.
2. Commission
A one-time commission of 50% of the first month tuition fee will be payable by you, which we
will collect directly from you or the student/s, after the 2nd week of tuition. Lessons which are
postponed during the first 4 weeks will not affect the commission. For Example: For a month
of 8 lessons, if 1 lesson was cancelled due to any reason (eg. Holiday, on medical leave, etc)
commission will still be based on 8 lessons and not 7 lessons. Upon administration fee is
received from you or the Student, a tax invoice will be mailed to you. You are advised to keep
this tax invoice for documentation purpose.
* Any attempt to cheat or deprive OneTuition.com of her legal share of commission will result in
legal actions being taken.
3. Cancellation of Assignment
In the event where you decided to cancel the assignment before the first lesson that you
have agreed to take up, prior notice of 48 hours before the first lesson must be given to
OneTuition.com .
If you fail to notify of your cancellation, an administrative charge of SGD 50 will be imposed.
4. Termination of Assignment
The minimum commitment period of an assignment is 1 month. In the event where you
terminate an assignment before the first month, OneTuition.com will recover her legal share of
the one-time commission of 50% of the first month tuition
fee from you.
In the event where the student prematurely terminates the assignment during the first month,
you will only receive 50% of payment for all your service hours. However, if the reason for the
student's termination is due to your fault as a tutor (eg. you are chronically late, did not attend
lesson without any valid explanation), you will bear the full commission charge.
5. Disclaimer
OneTuition.com will not act as an arbitrator or mediator for any conflicts or disagreements that
arise between the tutor and the student. However, we are always prepared to offer our views
and suggestions.
